Looking Out for the Little Guy
Friday was infusion day! Whoop whoop! The first infusion after the induction doses and all went well. Pretty intense bruising this time though. I have to admit, people were noticing. The nurses couldn’t make it work on the first arm, so I’m walking around with bruises on both. Maybe I should get tattoos over those areas so it’s less noticeable. Lol
BIG NEWS!!! I got lab results back after the infusion and all of my numbers have not only balanced out… they are better than they have been since I started this process with lab work!! I’m telling you, the miracle drug is working out even with that scare! Patience and trust is key in this process. I am so grateful I took this leap.
At the appointment, I met a woman who loves crocheting and we bonded over that shared love, it was very wholesome. She had recently made some nurses roses for Valentines Day, so I got to see her work in person. She was such a delight. I love meeting other artists who love talking about and showing their pieces.
So the day was going well and then the day took a turn in a unique direction right when I left the hospital. I was about to drive off and carry on with my day until I was stopped by a mysterious form near my tire. As I reached for the car door handle, I noticed something small and brown near my wheel. I took a closer look and realized this tiny thing was alive! This was my first injured animal to have crossed my path and I sprung into action! Well, I frantically googled what I should do and THEN I sprung into action. I tried asking the front desk at the hospital if they had any leads, with no luck. Then I just called every number I could find. Luckily, I got a response from a rehab facility across town. They said if I could bring it to them, they could take it from there. I walked rather briskly to the hospital front desk again to tell them the good news. They helped me out with a container and some kind words and the little one and I were off!
It’s pretty interesting to find a being that needs a hospital, at a hospital that can’t help it. But never fear, a hospital is always near!
I hope the little one is okay. I am still waiting for an update, so send good energy its way.
Here is a photo of the friend, if seeing a being helps you send energy to it.

I am so grateful it ended up near my car as opposed to the car of another who may not have noticed it. Always check your surroundings, you never know what you’ll find!
Be well, friends!
